Some students see summer as a time to just sit around and do nothing.
Well, at GW, we're clearly a lot more motivated than that.
Nearly the entirety of the GW team has been racing this summer.
Nick, Andrew, Catherine, and Sam have been tearing up the roads of the Mid-Atlantic. John raced at least once back home in NJ. Scott has raced as well, but mostly has been busy being a dad.
Alumni Bert, Dan, Rich, and Lauren have been joining in the MABRA battles.
Start getting excited for 2010 Cyclocross (where we will have competitors) and 2011 Road (in which we will be again laying siege to the ACCC)!
And stay tuned to this channel for profiles of the returning two-wheeled Colonials in the next week or so!

ReplyDeleteHi there! I just came across your blog. I'm an incoming grad student at GW and while I'm not in racing shape, I'd like to go on some rides with you guys. I rode all 4 years collegiate for Tufts (Women's A), and have raced for a couple of teams here and there. I've raced CX, Mtb and Road, though haven't really been riding much this past year and could use some motivation to get back into it. Not sure I want to race again, but I'm not closing the door either. I'm new to the area and really don't know my way around... can I join you guys for a ride one of these days?
